An LCD TV light bar is a series of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) located behind the LCD TV screen to backlight the screen. The working principle of the LCD TV light bar is based on the composition of LEDs, wherein the light emitted by the LEDs is modulated by the LCD screen to form visible pixels. LCD TV light bars usually consist of hundreds, even thousands, of LEDs arranged in a grid or bar array and connected to power and control circuits. Electrical energy enters the light strip through the wire, and the LED converts the electrical energy into light energy. The color of the LED depends on the composition of the material. The backlight structure of LCD TVs can generally be divided into two types: traditional CCFL lamp backlight and now common LED backlight. The CCFL backlight of LCD TV uses cold cathode fluorescent lamps to realize the backlight function, but it has been phased out because LED backlight can provide better picture quality and save energy. These backlight strips are suitable for a variety of applications including home entertainment settings, conference rooms, digital signage and commercial displays. They can be used to upgrade existing TVs or integrated into new TV designs to provide a high-quality viewing experience and increase energy efficiency. Even illumination and long life make them ideal for use in professional environments where consistent performance and durability are required.
The installation method of the LCD light bar is as follows:
1.Prepare the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it. Place it face down on a soft, flat surface to access the backlight strip.
2.Remove the back cover: Unscrew and remove the TV back cover to reveal the internal components.
3.Locate Backlight Strip: Identify the location of the existing backlight strip. They are usually located at the edges of the TV screen.
4.Remove the old backlight strip: Carefully remove the old backlight strip from the TV panel. Note their location and orientation.
5.Install the new light strip: Place the new Philips 47-inch LED TV backlight strip in the same location and direction as the old light strip. Make sure they are firmly attached to the TV panel.
6.Reassembly of the TV: Once the new strip is in place, reattach the TV back cover and secure it with screws.
7.Test the TV: Plug in the TV and turn it on to make sure the new backlight strip is working properly and providing even lighting.
